Quelques mots...

  • En bref: Discover Mas Picasso, a charming and elegant place. The perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. You can rent the whole house to yourself and make it your home during your stay. Located in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just one kilometre from the town centre and facing the Alpilles mountains, Mas Picasso is a beautiful country house dating from the 18th century. It is surrounded by a large garden with old trees and colourful flowers, as well as some strange works of art. The house is full of charm with its mosaics and colours, thanks to the talent of the painter Roger Bezombes. The main Mas, covering 500m2, has six large bedrooms with their own bathrooms, as well as several comfortable lounges. There is also a small annex called the Bergerie, with two additional bedrooms.

Intérieur & Extérieur

  • Intérieur: The large 500m2 house first welcomes you to its vast lounge decorated with a superb mosaic by Roger Bezombes. In front of an impressive fireplace, the lintel of which comes from the Popes' Palace in Avignon, comfortable sofas await you. In the middle of the house, a few steps up, is the landing, a place where you will often find yourself. Here you can enjoy a drink as you leave the kitchen for the terrace with its large sofas, ideal for sharing moments from morning to night. From here, you can see the kitchen, which is equipped with top-quality professional equipment and promises delicious meals. A few more steps and you'll arrive in a second large living and dining room of 80m2. Its large bay window opens onto a terrace overlooking the garden and the Alpilles mountains. A surprise awaits you in this luminous setting: the troglodyte dining room, with its glass table hidden in the rock and housing a wine cellar.

    The six main bedrooms:

These spacious, bright rooms each have their own style. The large beds are dressed in soft sheets and the bathrooms are equipped with Végétalement Provence products. All rooms, like the rest of the house, have air conditioning and Wi-Fi.

The two bedrooms in the Bergerie Annexe :

Located separately from the main house, these two bedrooms can sleep up to four people. The master bedroom, with a 180x200cm bed, opens onto a second bedroom with two 90x200cm single beds. They share a bathroom with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also a lounge with dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs, with separate access, there is a laundry and ironing room.

    The massage parlour :

Accessible from the garden, this converted dovecote houses a massage parlour. At the top of the stone staircase, well sheltered, you can enjoy this relaxing corner.
  • Extérieur:

    A walk in the gardens

The 5,000 m2 estate runs alongside the Via Aurelia, an ancient Roman road north of the Alpilles. Entirely enclosed, it opens up as soon as you pass through the large gate. The trees, planted over generations, offer a variety of landscapes, with hackberry trees, pines and hundred-year-old oaks. There are several secret spots along the promenade. The shaded terraces are equipped with large convivial tables and comfortable lounges, perfect for sharing moments together. The 15mx7m heated swimming pool, open from May to September, is the perfect place to relax. Surrounded by lawns, it's perfect for having fun. Its pool house has a bar, and of course there's a pétanque court nearby for lively games. For a little siesta, there's an old pond, where lotuses bloom and goldfish hide, while three original sculptures by Max Crueize spit water. You'll also find a herb patch and flowering bosquets adorning the walls of the Provençal garden. The plants overflow the old stone walls. At the foot of the terraces, numerous climbing roses and bushes add a graphic and fragrant touch.
